The following is a guide that covers how to set up RoadMerchant on your Blackberry. For PayPal Website Payment Pro, please click here. For NMI users, request your login/password from your provider. The follow instructions are for Authorize.net and compatible gateway users. Determine if your gateway is NMI or Authorize.net/emulatorFor NMI clients, ask your gateway provider for your login/password and enter them into the settings screen. For Authorize.net clients, you will need to obtain your API and Transaction ID by following the following steps:Step 1 - Get API/Transaction IDLog into your merchant account at Authorize.net. Click the "Account" tab. Under the "Security Settings" section, click on "API Login ID and Transaction Key". Follow the steps and obtain a current API Login ID and Transaction Key. Don't have your own merchant acount? No Problem! You can use the built in test account to perform demo transactions.Step 2 - Setup Road MerchantGo to the setting screen in Road Merchant. Enter your API Login ID and Transaction Key exactly as issued by Authorize.net (case sensitive). Enter into Test Transactions mode and try some test transactions. After verifying successful test mode transactions, turn off test mode and process live transactions. If you don't have your own merchant account, simply turn Demo Mode ON and Road Merchant will use it's built in test account for you to try the functions of the program with. |
