| PIN Security |
The program has PIN security. This is a security feature that can't be bypassed. If the PIN is entered incorrectly 4 times, the device will reset by erasing the PIN and also erasing the merchants API Login and Transaction Key from the settings. The merchant will need to re-enter their login information, and also select a new PIN on next startup. How To Use PIN Security1When you start the program for the first time, you will be prompted to select a PIN. You will need to confirm the PIN by typing it a second time. 2 Every restart of the program will require the PIN to be entered 3 Navigate to the settings screen if you wish to reset your PIN. To change your PIN, select "Reset Program Password" from the menu on the settings screen and restart the program. |
