PayPal Website Payments Pro |

Road Merchant allows you to redirect transaction request PayPal's Gateway for Website Payments Pro. This is not the same thing as Website Payments Standard that comes free with every business account. Website Payment Pro carries a monthly charge. Please contact PayPal for details. Please note: Requirements of PayPal's gateway require complete billing information be entered in with every transaction. Road Merchant will transmit "N/A" for missing fields so the transaction can be completed, but you will receive a "SUCCESSWITHWARNING" message from PayPal. Transactions can be performed in the US, UK, or Canada. The country and currency codes must be specified in settings before transactions can be performed. Entering Website Payments Pro Gateway InfoSettings:
- Enter your API Login, Password, and Signature being careful to enter EXACTLY. Info on how to get your API credentials from PayPal can be found here.
- Select PayPal Pro as the gateway.
- Set your 3 character currency code. For the United States, it would be USD
- Set your 2 character country code. For the United States, it would be US
You can now perform transactions on the main entry screen. With every transaction, you should select "PayPal Pro Fields" from the menu and enter the complete customer billing info. If you are using Solo or Maestro (Canada/UK), you need to either specify the Start Date as MMYYYY or the Issue Number (2 digits).
